A salary certificate is an official document that provides details about your employment and current salary, including your basic salary, total salary, allowances and benefits.
In Saudi Arabia, employees can issue a salary certificate online through their Qiwa individual account. Qiwa also allows you to view previously issued certificates, download or print them, and verify their validity online.
Types of Qiwa Salary Certificates
When issuing a salary certificate, Qiwa allows you to choose between two certificate types:
Total Salary
This shows your overall salary.
Salary Details
This provides a more detailed breakdown of your pay, including your basic salary, allowances and bonuses.
If an organization has requested a salary certificate from you, it is a good idea to check which type it requires before issuing the certificate.
