CV and Cover Letter Maker for Saudi Applications
Fill in one short form and watch a clean A4 CV build itself beside you, then switch tabs for a matching cover letter. Print it to PDF or export plain text — everything stays in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
What the builder produces
The form covers contact details, a professional summary, repeatable work experience and education blocks, skills and languages. The preview updates as you type so you can see exactly what a recruiter will see, with sections disappearing automatically when you leave them empty.
The cover letter tab takes the same details and assembles a short, direct letter: who you are, the role you want, the two or three things you would bring, and a polite close. You can rewrite any line of it before you print.
Printing and exporting
The Print button opens your browser print dialog with an A4 layout and no site navigation, so choosing Save as PDF gives you a clean one-page document ready to attach to an email or upload to a job portal.
The plain-text export writes the same content as a simple .txt file, which is what many Saudi job boards and HR systems accept when a formatted document cannot be parsed. Both options run entirely on your device.
Keeping a Saudi CV short and readable
Two pages is the norm for most roles in Saudi Arabia, and one page is right for early-career applicants. Put the newest role first, start each bullet with what you did and finish with a number where you can — hires, savings, accounts, turnaround time.
Include your iqama status, driving licence, earliest availability and languages only if they help the employer. A photograph, date of birth and marital status are no longer expected on most private-sector CVs.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my CV sent anywhere when I use this tool?
- No. Everything you type is held in the page state on your own device. There is no upload, no account and no server call — closing the tab discards it unless you download a copy.
- How do I turn the preview into a PDF?
- Press Print or Download PDF and choose Save as PDF in the print dialog. The page hides the site navigation and the form, leaving only the A4 preview on the sheet.
- How long should a CV be for a Saudi job?
- Two pages is the standard for most private-sector roles, one page if you are early in your career. Recruiters in Riyadh and Jeddah scan quickly, so lead with the most recent role and keep bullets to a single line where possible.
- Should I include a photo, age or marital status?
- Not for most private-sector applications. Those details are usually requested only by government entities or specific employers, and adding them unnecessarily dates your CV. Include iqama status, driving licence and availability instead when they are relevant.
- What should the cover letter say?
- Three short paragraphs: the role you are applying for and where you saw it, two or three concrete things you would bring with evidence, and a closing line asking for a conversation. The generated template already follows that shape and you can edit any line.
- Does this work on a phone?
- Yes. The form stacks above the preview on small screens, so you can type with one hand and scroll down to check the result. For the final check and the PDF, a laptop gives you a truer view of the A4 page.
