How to Replace a Saudi Driving Licence After Returning with a New Iqama

Learn how to replace a Saudi driving licence after returning with a new Iqama, including the Absher appointment process, requirements, and Muroor procedure.

If you left Saudi Arabia on a Final Exit Visa and later returned with a new visa and a new Iqama number, you can replace your existing Saudi driving licence so that it is linked to your current Iqama.

The process begins by signing in to the Absher Individuals platform and booking a Muroor appointment for Replace Driving Licence. During the appointment booking, enter your new Iqama number, choose your preferred Muroor branch, and select an available date and time.

Before visiting Muroor, ensure that your Iqama is valid, complete the required eye test at an approved medical centre, and pay the applicable driving licence fee along with any fines. The eye test report will be uploaded electronically to the system by the medical centre.

On the appointment date, visit the selected Muroor branch with your old Saudi driving licence and any other required documents.

Once your application is verified, Muroor will cancel the driving licence linked to your previous Iqama and issue a new licence under your current Iqama number.

The replacement process is generally simple and straightforward, as long as you complete all the required steps before your scheduled appointment.
